Updated Processing Times – Effective March 24, 2023
Effective March 24, 2023, the passport processing times are as follows:
Routine Service: 10-13 weeks
Expedited Service: 7-9 weeks
Our processing times begin the day we receive an application at a passport agency or center, not on the day the customer applied for a passport at an acceptance facility. We are no longer using door-to-door timeframes to calculate our estimated routine and expedited service times.
